Satellite Tracking Installed Across Fleet
PLM has launched satellite tracking across the whole of its fleet.
After trialing several systems, PLM chose the Global Live system which has excellent coverage across the whole of the UK and Europe.
The system updates every 60 seconds and Director Peter Scrivins says “the Global Live satellite tracking system provides us with up-to-the-minute information on every customers' consignment and is another service enhancement for PLM clients”.
New Schmitz Trailers Added To Fleet
Another batch of Schmitz trailers have been added to the PLM fleet. The specification includes tuck-away tail-lifts as more and more customers are requiring this facility. The sliding roof also gives flexibility for overhead loading by crane, where required.
